How to Store Your Cloud 8 Cartridges

Selecting the appropriate container is the first step in proper cartridge storage. We here at Cloud 8 use high-end glass for all our vape cartridges. Our containers are airtight and opaque to protect the cartridges from exposure to light and air. Glass or ceramic containers with sealable lids are ideal for preserving the freshness of Delta-8 THC cartridges.

Light and heat can weaken the potency of Cloud 8 cartridges over time. Store your cartridges in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight and heat sources such as stoves, heaters, or radiators. Excessive heat can cause the cannabinoids to degrade and diminish the effectiveness of the cartridges, and excessive heat may cause your Cloud 8 distillate to become runny. 

Fluctuations in temperature can also impact the quality of your Cloud 8 cartridges. Aim to store your cartridges in an environment with a stable temperature, ideally between 60°F and 70°F (15°C to 21°C). Avoid storing cartridges in places prone to temperature fluctuations, such as cars or outdoor sheds.

To prevent leakage and ensure proper airflow, store your Cloud 8 cartridges upright whenever possible. This helps to maintain the integrity of the cartridge and prevents any oil from leaking out or pooling at the bottom. Storing your Cloud 8 cartridges upright will help avoid clogs by allowing the product to return into the canister before cooling in the airway.

High humidity levels can promote the growth of mold and mildew, which can compromise the quality of your Cloud 8 cartridges and even make you sick. Keep your storage area dry and humidity-free to prevent moisture from seeping into the cartridges. 

To keep track of your cartridges and their freshness, label each container with the strain, potency, and date of purchase. This will help you monitor the shelf life of your cartridges and ensure you consume them before they expire. 

If you have multiple Cloud 8 cartridges in your collection, consider rotating your stock to ensure even usage and prevent any cartridges from sitting unused for extended periods. Use older cartridges first to avoid any loss in quality and ensure you’re having the freshest vaping experience.

Saving the rubber stops that come with your Cloud 8 cartridges is a great way to ensure pollutants such as lint, dirt, or debris do not enter into the airway of your vape cartridge. Replacing the rubber stop after each use will keep obstructions from entering your cart’s airway that may lead to clogs.
